Before Contacting Tech Support

If you are experiencing errors within the FARO Reality software and need to contact technical support, please have the following files and/or information ready to help resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

  • The exact text of the error message, or a screenshot illustrating that error. A quick and easy tool to take screenshots is included with Windows 7 and above called the Snipping Tool

This information includes details about your computer (operating system, hardware, etc) and a direct log of the program’s error activities. This information is very helpful and can save a lot of time in the troubleshooting process.
